Why are cloth hats so hideous now? On the whole I like the rusty, gothic look of a lot of the gear in Northrend. It’s certainly better than the floaty purple whirly crystals that plagued everything in Outland. However, when it comes to hats every single one I’ve seen so far makes my delicate Nelf look like The Gimp. They’re terrible. Am I healing, or am I headbutting things?

My dwarf priestie raiding compatriot won the Cowl of Vanity this week, a Best in Slot item, and now he looks like this little leathery rocket zipping around the group. Sigh. Bring on Tier 8!
